At last the revised version of the website is finished and live. It's taken quite some time to rethink the previous version and to learn how to do some of the things that make this new design possible. And as if that's not enough, I've added a blog. Select "blog" from the left hand menu.

"Foundations of Sonic Art & Sound Design" continues to sell respectably (currently in my publisher's Top 10!) and has generated some interesting correspondence and a few invitations including a talk at Arnolfini in Bristol in late October. A possible new project may be to create an audio version of the book - or at least of the text - I've discovered that a substantial number of aspiring sound artists are to some extent dyslexic and so we hope to be able to do something to help them out.

The best news of the year (after Hannah's graduation with a distinction in July and the wedding of the year last August) is that Rachael and Stuart have a son, Alfie (click his name for his special page), born on July 26. This means that Louise and I are now grandparents: impossible since we're obviously way too young.......
