Most images are taken with digital cameras although a few were originated on film. The earliest of these images were taken with a Mamiya C330 twin lens reflex camera with 80mm lenses and were shot on Kodak Tri-X film developed in Kodak D76 or Time Standard developers. These images are scanned from prints. Later film images are taken on various Kodak colour negative and reversal films using a Minolta D9000 35mm camera with a range of Minolta lenses.
All later images were originated digitally. My first digital camera was a now defunct Hewlett Packard which had possibly the longest shutter lag of all time making it quite useless for all but the most static or predictable of subjects. Nonetheless, it produced some excellent quality images with a little computer-tweaking. The majority of the images shown here were taken with Nikon digital SLRs, initially a D70 and later a D200. I've used a range of Nikkor lenses but have largely settled upon the excellent 18-200mm VR zoom which does an good job of damping out the worst of my tendency to shakiness. Every now and then I use a tiny Fuji Z1 that usually rides around in my pocket
