As will be obvious, most of my photography is of landscapes (in the broadest sense) and people don’t normally play a major part in the images that I make. This isn’t to suggest that I don’t find portraiture (once again in a very broad sense) rewarding but that, for reasons both personal and aesthetic, I’ve decided to concentrate upon objects and patterns. I do take pictures of people from time to time and have always found them to be an interesting diversion, enough so to allot them a separate portfolio. Sometimes people have been part of an image rather than the purpose thereof in which case the image appears in the relevant section – otherwise it appears here.
